As you already know, we are 5 minutes from historic Annapolis Royal. What an interesting place! Last Tuesday we went to the official opening of the painted room in Sinclair Inn Museum. Wow, just WOW! What an interesting visit. It's a museum, but the exposition is the building itself, how it was built, its history and its story. There are even ghosts...
To explain the mystery of the painted room, a short video presentation is available, in English and in French on how the painting was discovered and the following efforts to preserve and restore those treasures. More details are available in this article and this one. I invite you to have a look at this National Historic Site. So many interesting things to find around here!!
A fundamental trend in Tourism is providing experiences for your guests if you're an operator or look for something out of the ordinary if you are a traveler. Hello, Martin-H here. This year I intent to keep that blog on our website. Some posts will be more Business oriented, some more oriented toward the backstage of our wonderful property and probably some posts will be there just for the fun of it.
Speaking of fun, the goat on the picture is Lexie, our elder goat here. She is very curious and friendly. Since she has a lot of experience with people, she is always the first to spot a prospect that will come to the pen and pet them. Or even better, give them something to eat, because it's what goats do, the eat all the time... Should you stay here, feel free to pay her a visit !
@+ (à plus) which means see you later!
